66 booked for malpractice in inter exams

Hyderabad: As many 66 cases of malpractices were registered against the candidates who appeared for Intermediate Public Examinations held across Telangana State on Tuesday.

The examinations were held for Chemistry Paper-I, Commerce Paper-I and Fine Arts, Music Paper-I.

Of 492,391 registered candidates, a total of 463,197 students (94.07%) appeared for the exams while 29,194 (5.93%) abstained from it. The Telangana State Board of Intermediate Education has sent 40 Observers to Medak, Nalgonda, Mahabubnagar and Warangal districts. The examinations were conducted peacefully without any untoward incident, said Board Secretary Dr. A. Ashok. (INN)
