New Delhi : Akshay Kumar, who is currently shooting for his upcoming romantic-thriller ‘Rustom,’ was recently detained at the London’s Heathrow Airport, it has been reported.
According to Mumbai Mirror, the ‘Airlift’ star was made to wait in the general waiting area of the airport for approximately one and a half hour on the accounts of not having a valid visa.
The officials told the daily that there were discrepancies in the documents of the 48-year-old actor.
It has been reported that when Akshay was sitting in the designated area between 7 am to 8.45 am, the fans went crazy and started clicking pictures and creating commotion.
The actor, who was accompanied by his personal trainer, had requested to be seated in a special area, but his request was declined by the airport authority. (ANI)
