AP officials not accepting Andhra staff: CM

Stating that there was a dispute in distributing electricity employees, Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao said while the Andhra-based employees were ready to go to their native places, the Andhra officials were not accepting them.

 

Speaking on motion of thanks to  Governor’s speech, the Chief Minister said State government was not filling Vice-Chancellor posts intentionally. He said earlier vice-chancellors sold out professor posts for handsome bribes. But the TRS government wants to set right the universities by appointing best vice-chancellors, he said. Finding fault with Beef Festivals and Kiss Festivals on the campuses, KCR said the incidents in Hyderabad Central University and JNU (Delhi) were highly condemn-able. He said grants will be increased and super fine rice will be provided to the hostels of the Universities.

 

Finding fault with BJLP leader Dr K Laxman’s allegation that debts of the Telangana State were increasing, KCR said even the world’s richest USA has Rs 1140 lakh crore debts. He said his government will construct double bedroom houses by taking loan from HUDCO. He said the State government’s budget will cross Rs.2 lakh crore by the year 2019-20.

 

Making it clear that 12 reservations for STs and Minorities will be implemented at any cost, KCR said that the government will take the report of Minority Commission and it will place it in front of the BC Commission and the reservations will be implemented to Minorities under BCs. The unanimous decision will be taken in a special session to be conducted on some day in this regard, he said. (NSS)
