Army officer dies of swine flu

Jaipur:A 38-year-old Indian Army officer has died of swine flu in Jodhpur military hospital.

Vishnu Prasad, Commanding Officer of 12 Guards, died yesterday of multiple organ failure caused due to H1N1 virus of swine flu, Army sources said.

The officer, who belonged to Odisha, leaves behind his wife and a five-year-old daughter.

The sources said the officer had been running high fever for the past few days while been on an exercise in Rajasthan.
