Job Description

We’re now looking for a successful candidate as Area Sales Manager to lead the sales operations , based in Hyderabad..
The Area Sales Manager – Hyd is responsible for providing operational leadership to the Sales Team. This includes defining sales strategy, developing and executing the sales team’s Operational Planning, defining and tracking sales activities, sales processes and maintaining the CRM, enhancing sales capability through organized training and coaching.

Identify, develop, implement and evaluate sales strategy, based on knowledge of company business objectives and market characteristics.
Promote and effectively use catalogue content, advertising and/ or marketing collateral to increase account penetration and sales generation.
Maintain and develop a high level of technical understanding of the Various product range, technical developments and new product introductions.
Achieve and exceed monthly sales revenue targets, KPMs (Key Product Marketing) and objectives for the allocated territory.
Development, documentation and intelligent adherence to a planned call cycle procedure that allows the highest possible contact with customers, potential and existing, to achieve set objectives and targets.
Manage the opportunity cost of time with customers and/ or call frequencies to be consistent with their level of current or potential sales revenue.
Confident and effective communicator to all levels of the business and to various retail channel partners, customers etc.
Strong team management skills, demonstrating leadership, facilitation and coaching styles to create a high-performance culture
Demonstrates challenge in a positive and proactive manner that builds credibility and effectiveness across all areas of the business
Understands the needs of engineers and buyers ( target retailers / customers)


Graduate /Post Graduate, MBA or equivalent with 5- 6 years of experience, between 22- 35 yrs, having knowledge of IT hardware market.
Currently handling Sales & Marketing (FOS).

– Play an integral role in new business pitches.

– Responsible for development & achievement of sales.

– Dealing with buyers, store managers & regional managers of Channel Partners.

– Identify short & long term growth opportunities.

– Identify opportunity & build business.

– Joint Business plan with Key accounts.

– Forecasting and tracking Key account Metrics.

– Keeping up-to-date with the market trend and competition.

– Closely liaising with marketing team for campaigns.

– Close follow ups (PO to Payments).

– Regular business review with Key accounts.

– Quarterly Reconciliation of accounts.

– Responsible for Plan Vs Achievement.

Graduate / MBA (marketing) with min 3 – 7 yrs of experience, with very good communication skills . Preferably, having very good knowledge of Product Marketing / Business Development to handle the entire Branch..
