Atrocities case against KCR sought

Prof. G Vinod Kumar of Osmania University has demanded that the State government book an SC, ST Atrocities case against Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao for insulting the strike of workers of Municipalities and Panchayats.

The KBPS Tribal Union organized a round table at Sundaraiah Kala Nilayam here on Tuesday. Speaking on the occasion, Prof. Vinod Kumar said the SC, ST and BC sections were only working in Gram Panchayats. “It is atrocious on the part of the Chief Minister to describe their strike as waste one”, he alleged. He asked the police to file a case against the Chief Minister for insulting the SC, ST and BCs. He also warned the police that they would file a private petition in the High Court if the police failed to file a case against the Chief Minister.

KBPS State secretary John Wesley, Tribal Union State general secretary Sriram Naik and others participated in the round table. (NSS)
