Andhra Pradesh Brahmin Corporation Chairman I Y R Krishna ao is likely to be shown the door for his anti government and anti-CM postings in the social media.
Soon after retiring as Chief Secretary of A.P, he was appointed as Chairman of the newly created Brahmin Corporation with cabinet minister status. TDP leaders and supporters brought to the notice of Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu about Krishna Rao’s recent postings on Facebook in which he was critical about the functioning of the TDP Government also the CM.
Krishna Rao it is alleged was critical about certain decision taken by Chandrababu Naidu like granting permission for extra shows to cinema theatres to screen Bahubali 2, granting tax exemption to Gauthamiputra Shathakarni, appointment of Anil Singhal as TTD Executive Officer etc. It was also alleged that he had even downloaded in his Facebook account a cartoon against late over two decades ago and attributed it to be the handy work of Chandrababu Naidu.
It was further alleged that Krishna Rao’s posting on the social media also included those in favour of YS Jagan Mohan Reddy. All these were brought to the notice of Chandrababu Naidu who very annoyed that Krishna Rao had not even bothered to give his explanation in the matter.
As a matter of fact Chandrababu Naidu had recently cautioned all the party leaders and cadre not to indulge in open criticism against each other or air their views publicly on any issue. He warned that such actions would be viewed seriously and he would not hesitate to initiate stern action. Thus when a nominated Chairman himself was indulging in criticizing the functioning of the government and the Chief Minister, the axe was bound to be used.
The Chief Minister has decided to sack Krishna Rao and efforts are on to select a suitable person. (NSS).
