Information Commissioner Navin Mittal today participated in Bathukamma festival on the head office premises here. The commissioner was so excited he joined the officials and staff to sing and play Bathukamma on the occasion. Earlier, Navin Mittal performed puja at a temple on the premises and extended greetings to the staff to mark the State festival.
Speaking on the occasion, the Commissioner said Bathukamma festival reflects the Telangana culture and traditions and bring together all the womenfolk for festivities. “This time we are conducting Bathukamma festival across the State by involving all the departments”, Navin Mittal said. He also said the festival will be celebrated on a grand scale next year by active participation of the staff, who should be in forefront in every activity and program.
