Bodies of four kids recovered from water body in Bihar

New Delhi: Police on Wednesday recovered bodies of four kids from a swollen water body near a village in Bihar’s Lakhisarai district, a police officer said.

The locals detected four bodies floating in the swollen water body in riverine area near Vridanvan village and informed the police.

The police rushed to the spot and took these bodies, that of two boys and two girls, under its custody, the Sub-Divisional Police Officer (SDPO), Sadar, Pankaj Kumar said.

The circumstances of their death was under investigation, Kumar said.

The bodies have been sent for post-mortem and efforts were on to ascertain identity of these kids, the SDPO said.
