Chawal ki Kheer

Rice 1 cup
Milk 2 litres
Sugar 1 cup
Almond 15-20, soaked and peeled
Raisins 1/4 cup
Cashew 1/4 cup
Cardamom Powder 1/2 teaspoon


Rinse and soak rice for about 30 minutes. Boil milk and add soaked rice to it.

Let it simmer on low flame for about an hour till the milk gets thickened.

Add sliced almonds, cashew, cardamom powder and sugar.

Cook it till the sugar dissolves. Switch of the flame and add raisins.

Serve hot or cold decorated with dry fruits.
