Civil Service Coaching for Minorities: Centers not selected so far, 70 days left for exam

Hyderabad: The dream of better performance of minority candidates of Telangana State is likely to remain unfulfilled since the Dept. of Minorities Welfare has not identified the coaching centers in which the candidates have to be sent for coaching.

It may be noted that there is hardly 70 days left for the candidates to prepare. They have to take Civil Service (Prelims) examination on 7th August. The Minorities Study Circle selected 62 candidates for giving coaching at standard coaching institute. A committee consisting of Mr. Rahul Buja, IAS, Collector of Hyderabad District, Mr. Tafseer Iqbal, IPS, DCP of LB Nagar and A. Sabharwal, IPS was constituted to identity the best coaching centers in the city which has not been done so far. Govt. allocated Rs. 12 crore for this purpose. Even if this committee identifies a coaching center, it may not be possible for the candidates to prepare well. It seems that the officials of the Dept. of Minorities Welfare are bent upon failing this scheme.
