“Civil Services Day’—KCR Hails Services of Civil Servants

Hyderabad: On the occasion of ‘Civil Services Day’ to be celebrated all over the country on April 21, to recognize the outstanding work being done by the Civil Service in serving the people, Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao conveyed his greetings and best wishes to each one of the Civil Servants serving in the State and expressed the hope that they would rededicate themselves to the task of achieving “Bangaru Telangana”.
The Chief Minister said that the Civil Service has a key role to play in achieving the task of inclusive growth for all sections of the society as well as in the policy formulation and effective implementation. CM further said that after the formation of the State of Telangana, the Civil Services played a critical role in ensuring a smooth transition of the new State and in reorienting policies to cater to the felt needs of the people of the State. CM also cited the example of the Civil Servants role in ensuring the successful implementation of District reorganization process to bring administration closer to the public.(NSS)
