CM orders salary hike for SERP, NAREGA staff

In a significant development, the State government has decided to hike the salaries of employees of SERP and NAREGA across the State.

After a review meeting with the officials at camp office, Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao today declared hike of salaries to two wings. Out of 4,714 staff working in SERP, 767 cluster co-ordinators working at Mandal federation will get Rs 12,000 a month as against the previous salary of Rs 6,150 while rest of the staff will get 30 per cent hike.

The Chief Minister also favored salary hike for 6,982 field assistants of NAREGA to Rs 10,000 from Rs 6,290 and the rest of the staff will get 20 per cent hike. He directed the officials to implement the order immediately hiking the salaries of the staff of SERP and NAREGA. (NSS)
