President Telangana Pradesh Congress Minority Department Mr. Mohammed Khaja Fakhruddin told that a dharna will be staged on all district and city head quarters of Telangana on April 21, demanding implementation of 12 percent Muslim reservations. He appealed all Congress leaders in general and Minority leaders in particular to make the dharna a success.
Mr. Fakhruddin recalled that addressing an election meeting at Shadnagar, Mahboob Nagar, 2 years ago, KCR had promised to provide 12 reservations to Muslims within 4 months after coming to power. Impressed by this Muslims of Telangana played an important role in bringing TRS to power however even after 24 months, Chief Minister of Telangana K Chandrasekhar Rao failed to fulfil his promise. Congress party strongly condemn this and will stage dharna demanding implementation of 12 pc Muslim reservations, said the Congress leader.
