The Congress has decided not to readmit the leaders, who shifted their loyalties to other parties.
TPCC extensive meeting was held at Gandhi Bhavan here on Tuesday. The meeting decided to initiate action against the leaders, who worked against the interests of the party. The party has also decided to boycott the TRS pamphlets “Namasthe Telangana” and “T News” and fight against the government’s attitude on land acquisition.
Charging the TRS government with not bothering about the problems of the people and the prevailing drought situation, the party leaders opined that the party should step up war on public problems and demanded that the government implement its assurances made to the people during elections.
AICC leader incharge of Telangana party affairs Digvijay Singh, TPCC president N Uttam Kumar Reddy, TPCC working president Bhatti Vikramarka, CLP leader K Jana Reddy, Leader of the Opposition in the Council Mohammed Ali Shabbir and others participated in the meeting. (NSS)
