Waqf Mafia has begun efforts to transfer Chief Executive Officer Waqf Board Mohammed Asadullah because of his sincere efforts for protection of Waqf properties and his action against the mutavallis involved in irregularities. According to sources various mutavallis and encroachers of Waqf properties have complaint government against Asadullah and demanded to immediately remove him from the post.
Some mutavallis who enjoy political backing sent complaints to the offices of Chief Secretary and Chief Minister and made baseless allegations against CEO Waqf Board. It is said the officials of CMO were also surprised on the allegations.
It must be noted that Waqf Mafia has always been active against honest and efficient officers. After taking charge as Chief Executive Officer, Mohammed Asadullah initiated several measures to protect several key Waqf properties.
