CPI Plea on cut-off Date—SIs Recruitment

Hyderabad: The CPI has urged the Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao to consider the age as per old recruitment rules and cut-off date as July 1, 2015 in recruiting Sub-Inspector (SI) posts in police department.
CPI state secretary Chada Venkat Reddy has addressed a letter to the Chief Minister in this regard on Friday. He said that the government issued a notification by giving three years age relaxation to the candidates in the G.O. (RC No.01/Rect/Admn/1/2016) and (RC No.14/Rect/Admn/1/2016). But the government was considering the age relaxation to the date July 1, 2016 instead of July 1, 2015. Thousands of candidates were losing their opportunity with fixing the cut off date as July 1, 2016. Chada also reminded that the government issued notifications for SIs and Constables on same day but the government has not given same age relaxation. He demanded the government for same age relaxation to the Sis, as given to the constables. He wanted the government to fix the cut off date as July 1, 2015 and take a decision in this regard as soon as possible because the last date for submitting applications is March 3, 2016. (NSS)
