Wife harassed by husband, ends life
(Siasat News): A woman, who was very upset over the harassment and torture of her husband, took the extreme step of ending her life.
This incident occurred in Begumpet police limits where one Saroja, 36, had poured kerosene on her body on June 5 and set herself ablaze.
She had sustained severe burn injuries and was taken to the hospital where she died during the treatment. The deceased was the wife of one Solomon.
He was an alcoholic and used to reach home in an inebriated state and used to harass and torture Saroja.
When the torture became unbearable for her, she ended her life. A case has been registered and further investigations are on.
Man set wife ablaze
(Siasat News): A husband in an inhuman act set his wife ablaze in Alwal. This sensational incident had occurred last week where the woman had sustained severe burn injuries.
According to Alwal police, Asiya Begum, 26, was attacked by her husband Mahboob. The duo got married some 8 years ago.
The husband was a labourer and used to drink a lot and fought with his wife. On June 5, the duo had a fight and out of anger, Mahboob had poured kerosene on her body and set her ablaze.
She was under treatment in a hospital where she succumbed to her injuries last night.
Financial crunch led to suicide
(Siasat News): A man in Mailardevpally committed suicide due to acute health and finance problems.
According to police the deceased Mohan, 36, was a labour and residing at Kattedan. However, he was not keeping well for quite some time and upset about his deteriorating health.
Yesterday, he consumed some pesticide. Though he was taken to the hospital where he died during the treatment.
Police has registered a case and further investigations are underway.
