Man arrested at airport with AK 47 bullet and released
(Siasat News): The immigration staff of RGI has arrested a passenger in possession of AK 47 bullet and handed him over to RGI police.
As per the details, the accused Kishan Nayak, a soldier, native of Warangal, has been doing his duty in Srinagar (J & K).
After spending 40 days of leave, he was leaving for Srinagar and had reached the airport to catch a flight.
However, during the checking by immigration staff, an AK 47 bullet was found in his luggage.
Kishan Nayak somehow succeeded in convincing the immigration staff that he had come to Warangal on a long leave and the bullet might be left in the bag by mistake.
Police did all the necessary investigations to to check whether his claim was true. He was later released.
