New bride ends life
(Siasat News): A woman who got married just two months back committed suicide at Chhatrinaka.
Police sources said that 20-year-old Monika, resident of Sai Nagar colony, Chhatrinaka hanged herself to death. She love married one Pawan two months ago.
However, her in-laws were greedy and after two months of the marriage, they started harassing her for more dowry.
Police is of the opinion that she might have committed suicide over the constant harassment which she could not bear any more.
A case has been registered and further investigations are on.
Two workers robbed by masked men
(Siasat News): Six masked men attacked two stage decoration workers and robbed their cash and phones in Shamshabad
The incident occurred when Ganesh and Shivashankar were returning home on their bike. When they were near their village Pedda Shapur, six masked men appeared from nowhere and demanded their cash and cellphones.
The duo refused to oblige. Over this the gang attacked them and made its escape good with Rs. 3000 and two mobiles.
Sub-inspector Mr. Khaleel Pasha said that police is analyzing the mobile phones to trace the culprits.
Another dowry case
(Siasat News): Police arrested a celebrity trainer in a dowry harassment case.
The accused P. Pradeep Kumar Reddy owner of F45 gym in Jubilee Hills, who had trained Tollywood celebrities, was charged with criminal intimidation and dowry harassment after a complaint lodged by his wife, L Divya.
Reddy had been harassing Divya seeking money in lakhs and other properties as dowry, which he claimed that Divya’s parents had promised to give. Further investigations are on.
