Alcoholic husband kills wife
(Siasat News): An alcoholic husband brutally killed his wife at Mangalhat in the old city. According to the police, the deceased Seema, 30, was the wife of one Arjun of Machlipura.
Her husband was a labourer. He used to beat her under the influence of alcohol almost every day. His wife of fed up of her husband’s drinking habit.
Last night, in a fit of anger, Arjun strangulated his wife to death. Inspector Srinivas along with his clues team reached Machlipura and conducted panchnama.
Further investigations are underway.
Lineman electrocuted to death
(Siasat News): An employee of electrical department in Saroornagar electrocuted to death. According to Saroornagar police the deceased Sri Sailam Goud, 34, was an electric lineman and was attached to Saroornagr sub-station.
Yesterday, he was busy in some electrical work at L B Nagar when he had accidentally come into contact with a live wire in which he was severely burnt.
Though he was taken to the hospital but succumbed to his burn injuries. Police Saroornagar is further investigating.
Six injured in roof collapse
(Siasat News): Six labours were seriously injured when the roof of an under construction building collapsed. It is said that the construction work was going on at plot No. 595 on road No. 33.
However, during the work, the roof of the second floor collapsed in which six labours Nilesh, Noor Hussain, Adnan, Laxmaiah, Mahesh and Shabbir were seriously injured.
They were taken to hospital where their treatment is going on.
In the meantime, police inspector Jubilee Hills Mr. Venkat reddy said that a case has been registered against the contractor and the condition of the lbaours is out of danger.
