Criminal action against illegal occupants of Dargah Hazrat Mir Mahmood Saheb

Waqf Board has begun criminal action against the illegal occupants and unauthorised selling of Waqf land attached to Dargah Hazrat Mir Mahmood Saheb, Attapur village, Rajendranagar Mandal, Rangareddy district.

Chief Executive Officer Waqf Board Mohammed Asadullah sent Waqf Board officials to inspect the land and on the basis of their report decided to book case against the perpetrators. Chief Executive Officer had directed Inspector Auditor Waqf Rangareddy and Surveyor Waqf Board to conduct enquiry into the matter. Locals had complained Waqf Board that some persons are openly selling the Waqf land claiming it to be their own land.

Taking immediate action against unauthorised selling Chief Executive Officer sent a letter to Tahsildar Rajendranagar mandal and requested him to demarcate the Waqf land through surveyor of Revenue Department. Mohammed Asadullah told that Waqf Board has a complete record of the land and no person can claim its ownership.
