New Delhi: Union minister Bandaru Dattatreya today expressed concern over disinformation being spread to slur his image in Rohit Vemula case in Central University of Hyderabad.
Dattatreya informed the Lok Sabha that he never mentioned name of Rohit Vemula in the letter which he had written to the HRD Minister. He expressed disgust over the Opposition parties trying to target him in the UoH student Rohit Vemula suicide case. He said he had never committed any mistake in his political life and it was not proper to spread false information about him. “I fought for BCs and other downtrodden sections for years together and Telugu speaking people knew about his career, he said.
