Deeni Madrasa students’ arrest in Kharagpur – Jamiatul Ulema protests

Hyderabad: 48 students who were coming to Hyderabad for taking admissions in Deeni Madrasas were arrested by the police at Kharagpur Railway station in West Bengal on 7th August suspecting them to be going for child labour.

These students were taken to unknown place for enquiry. Mr. K. Khaliq Ahmed Saber, General Secretary of Jamiatul Ulema, Hyderabad has been requested to talk to the office bearers of Jamiatul Ulema of West Bengal to take up the case of the release of these students. Jamiatul Ulema also protested that police arrested on the pretext of child labour which is totally wrong.
