New Delhi: Six people were killed on Friday after a speeding car rammed into a vehicle stationed ahead it on National Highway-1.
According to reports the deceased were in an Eco Sports car and were travelling from Delhi to Karnal when the incident happened.
The victims were rushed to the hospital but were declared brought dead by the doctors.
“The accident happened around 4:30 am in the morning, we got a call around that time. We rushed to the spot and saw that a high intensity accident has taken place. Prima facie it seems like the car hit a stationary vehicle from behind. Six people were declared brought dead by the hospital. We are investigating the case,” Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) Pankaj Kumar said.
The deceased have yet not been identified. (ANI)
