Delhi University student kills brother over his girlfriend’s stayovers

New Delhi: A 28-year-old Sanskrit Professor, Hitesh was killed by his younger brother in their flat in north Delhi’s Burari, early Monday morning.

According to Indian Express, His brother Himanshu, 23-year-old, Student of DU told that his brother asked him to go out at late night so that he and his girlfriend could spend time together and he use to do this every other day.

Their parents who stays in Jhansi argued that the Himanshu Verma, 23, doesn’t wanted to go out in cold. In that temper he threw a dumbbell at his brother Hitesh and kept hitting him until he passed away.

Himanshu told to the police that Hitesh had been asking him to leave every other day and brought his girlfriend at 1.30am and asks him to go out. But he refused to do this time.

Madhur Verma, deputy commissioner of police said, “During sustained investigation, Himanshu broke down and confessed his crime.” Under section 302 (murder) case has been registered and investigations are ongoing.
