Demonetisation of Big Notes is only for the BJP’s Political Gains: CPI

CPI national secretary K Narayana has alleged that the demonetisation of big notes was only for the BJP political gains. He said that the Prime Minister Narendra Modi took demonetisation decision would help the corporate forces and suppress the small time business and street vendors.

CPI Andhra Pradesh state council meeting was held at Dasari Nagabhushan Rao Bhavan here on Friday and P Durga Bhavani presided over the meeting.  While inaugurating the meeting, Narayana alleged that Narendra Modi announced the decision of demonetisation of big notes instead of RBI governor as per rule and was telling different stories every day on it. First he said that demonetisation was to curb the black money and later he said that it was to curb the fake money and later he was said that to see that the currency not to reach to the terrorists and presently Prime Minister was saying that it was taken to transform the India as cashless India. All the way, Modi was troubling common man, he alleged. Modi took demonetisation decision only to sidetrack the opposition from the people in Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, Goa and other state where the elections to be held soon. Prime Minister was further misguiding the people by criticising the opposition parties by not attending the Parliament.

CPI state secretary K Ramakrishna and other participated in the first day of the two-day meeting.  (NSS)
