Development not satisfactory: Kodandaram

Telangana Political JAC Chairman Prof. M Kodandaram has said the development in the newly evolved Telangana State was not up to the expectations of the people.

Speaking to the media here on Monday, Prof. Kodandaram said he was taking up Rythu Deeksha on October 23 at Dharna Chowk at Indira Park. He said he was observing the Deeksha only to bring the problems of the farmers to the notice of the State government. Several JAC leaders, farmers unions’ leaders would participate in the Deeksha, he informed.

On the other hand, Prof. Kodandaram met Chief Secretary Rajiv Sharma today and discussed on the demands of the people for new districts, mandals and so on. He asked Sharma to solve the Gattuppal and Nagireddy Peta mandals’ issue. (NSS)
