Devotees of Shahi Masjid donate blood for Thalassemia patients

To help patients suffering from Thalassemia, a blood donation camp was organised here by devotees of Shahi Masjid, Public Garden in collaboration with Tanzeem Focus and League Reformers after Friday prayers. The camp was organised adjacent to the masjid. On the occasion the devotees voluntarily donated blood. Nearly 200 devotees registered their names and donated blood. Maulana Ahsan bin Mohammed Al-Hamoomi, Khateeb Masjid and Mr. Syed Omer Jaleel Secretary Minority Welfare Department inaugurated the camp.

Aleem Baig, General Secretary Thalassemia Skill Cell Society told that the society office is located at Purani Haveli where blood is provided for Thalassemia patients. He appreciated the humanitarian spirit of donors.
