Hyderabad: Telangana government would introduce digital class rooms in the first phase in 1,500 schools from November 14, the Children’s Day, Deputy Chief Minister K Srihari said here today.
Srihari, who inaugurated an education exhibition at a school here, said the digital class rooms are being introduced as part of the government’s resolve to improve quality of education.
The state government would also set up computer labs in schools, an official release quoted him as saying.
He also said the notification for District Selection Committee for teachers’ recruitment would be announced soon. The notification was delayed due to re-organisation of districts in the state.
