Melbourne: An American TV producer who was covering this year’s Australian Open, passed away in his hotel room on the intervening night of Monday-Tuesday.

The Sydney Morning Herald quoted ESPN sources, as saying that Ted Brown, 36, was in good health and was working in the graphics department of ESPN before being sent as a producer to cover the Australian Open.
