A 19-year-old girl committed suicide allegedly due to fear of not qualifying in an entrance test.
The deceased, A. Sai Priya, resorted to the extreme step by hanging to the ceiling at her residence in Aghapura on Sunday night. She had completed her D. Ed., and had appeared for Teachers’ Eligibility Test recently. She was reportedly under depresion since writing TET and the fear of failing in the entrance exam is suspected to have driven her to suicide, according to Habeeb Nagar police. (INN)
