Mathura: Excise department has suspended its three inspectors for failing to check smuggling of Haryana-made liquor in the district, officials said today.
The suspension orders were issued yesterday by Excise Commissioner Bhav Nath, District Excise officer Pawan Kumar said.
Excise Inspectors Sanjay Yadav, Raj Vijay Singh and Vijay Kumar Solanki were in charge of Mathura Vrindavan, Chhata Govardhan and Mat Mahaban areas respectively, he said.
