Welcoming the BJP government’s decision to allow FDI in various sectors, including defense, Lok Satta founder-president Dr Jayaprakash Narayan said FDI is better than debt.
Though it was a late decision, but it was good decision which pays way for increase farmers’ income, employment to youth and an impetus for growth of small and medium industry, he said in a statement. Jayanaprakash Narayan opined that not only foreign FDI, the government also encourage domestic investments. FDI is better than obtaining debt, he said and suggested to create a congenial atmosphere to attract the investment.
Though political parties have different opinions on FDI, but this would help start micro, small and medium industries which would pave way for jobs to youth, Jayaprakash Narayan said. (NSS)
