Azamgarh (UP): Another incident is reported where a mob lynched one of the attackers who killed a former village head in a function he attended.
The incident happened in Azamgarh where a former village head Shyampyare Pasi person was killed over some former animosity by two attackers who attacked him with knives killing him on the spot while he was having dinner at a marriage function in Lediamadpur village, said the Police.
Parsi had a criminal background which could have been the reason for his enmity suspects Police. While the two attackers tried fleeing the crime scene, one was caught and beaten up by the villagers said the Police.
Police personnel has been deployed to avoid further incidents in the area, DC reported.
