Four teachers placed under suspension in Kishtwar

Jammu: Four teachers of a government school were placed under suspension for their unauthorised absence from duties in Khistwar district, an official spokesperson said today.

Chief Education officer of Khistwar conducted a surprise visit to the primary school in Bella Chicha area of the district, he added.

He said the four teachers were placed under suspension for being absent from duty without seeking prior permission and sanction of leave.

The CEO attached these teachers to High School Pathernaki till pending enquiry and constituted a team to enquire into the whole episode.

The CEO also warned the erring teachers to be punctual in future otherwise the case will be referred to the higher authorities for the termination of their services.
