Gali raps Congress for dividing State; Jagan for trying to destabilize TD govt

Hyderabad: Launching an attack on Congress party, TDP senior leader and MLC Gali Muddukrishnama Naidu today alleged that UPA government has bifurcated united Andhra Pradesh without mentioning place for new capital and special status issues to Andhra Pradesh in the AP Reorganization Act.
Speaking to the media at NTR bhavan here on Saturday, Muddukrishnama Naidu said the Congress has divided the State for its selfish political gain doing injustice to Andhra Pradesh. Criticizing AICC leader Digvijaya Singh, the TDP leader said the latter was giving mere suggestions whose party has done injustice to the State. Terming Congress as “Make in Italy Congress“, he alleged that this party was defeated in 2014 elections following its involvement in a number of scams during the previous UPA rule.
Chandrababu Naidu was taking Singapore help which is known as a corruption-free and development-oriented government, he said and asked as to why Digvijaya Singh, Rahul Gandhi, Sonia Gandhi and Manmohan Singh were not staging dharna in front of Parliament House pressing for special status to Andhra Pradesh. Launching a scathing attack on the YSRC, Muddukrishnama Naidu alleged that its president YS Jagan was trying to create differences between castes and religions. Jagan was trying to provoke Kapus and SCs and was talking of destabilizing the government. “Jagan does not want a stable government. Jagan should play a constructive Opposition role and cooperate in development of the State”, he added. (NSS)
