GHMC Commissioner Dr. B. Janardhan Reddy has directed the engineering officials of the GHMC and HMWS&SB to expedite the restoration works in view of the onset of monsoon.
Dr. Janardhan Reddy, along with HMWSSB Managing Director Dana Kishore and other senior officials of engineering departments, made a surprise visit through Bus yathra and personally inspected the ongoing water pipeline, road restoration works. While on inspection, he interacted with the engineering officials and directed them to take up the restoration works on war footing basis keeping in view of the onset of monsoon.
The entire team started its visit from L.B.Nagar circle office, Saroornagar post office where water pipeline restoration works were inspected. The officials also inspected water stagnation points at L.B.Nagar X Roads, Sitara Hotel and Chinthal Kunta Check Post. They also check the restoration works at Autonagar, Huda Sainagar colony, Gurudwara Huda Colony, NGOs colony, Sachivalaya nagar, Vaidehi nagar, BN Reddy Nagar and Sagar Road. (INN)
