Hyderabad: The health wing of GHMC officials suddenly inspected few meat shops selling mutton, beef and chicken in Secunderabad.
Officials fined shops selling meat without licence and also charged them under sections 548, 539, 487, 521 and 596 of the Hyderabad Municipal Act for selling meat without licence.
Also, the stores bought the meat from illegal slaughter houses. Stores that were selling unstamped mutton and beef were fined with 1000Rs.
Officials also visited few tiffin centres at Ramanthapur main road and fined them for throwing garbage on roads with 2000Rs, as reported in DC.
