Hyderabad: A boy committed suicide when the girl with whom his marriage alliance was settled refused to marry. The incident occurred under Pargi police station limits.
According to details 24-year-old, Venkateshwarlu, R/O Ravulapalli, Pargi, was a driver by occupation. His sister had settled an alliance for him with a girl related to her in-laws. The alliance was almost settled.
Meanwhile 14-year-old, Parvathi refused to marry saying that she is too young and wants to pursue higher education. Distraught over girl’s refusal to marry, Venkateshwarlu committed suicide.
