The State government has withdrawn one gunman from former Home Minister Sabitha Indra Reddy here on Wednesday.
The government addressed a letter to Sabitha in this regard. She received the letter but not acknowledged it. As per rules, Sabitha has to sign on the letter and the respective gunman will report the same to his higher officials. According to sources, Sabitha was upset with the reduction of her security personnel. She was contemplating to approach Court on the issue. She worked as Home Minister from 2009 to 2014 in the previous Congress government. The present government continued her security till recently. But five days ago, the government took a decision reducing her security personnel. (NSS)
