Hajj House transformed into hub of government offices

Hajj Committee will face a lot of difficulties during arrangement of Hajj Camp this year, as the Hajj House has virtually transformed into a hub of government offices and there is no place for pilgrims in the building. The building constructed to accommodate Hajj pilgrims during Hajj Camp has become the hub of government offices; as a result Telangana and Andhra Pradesh Hajj Committees are worried over arrangement of Hajj camp this year.

Special officer Telangana Hajj Committee Prof. S A Shukoor has begun consultation with the officials of Andhra Pradesh Hajj Committee and has begun emergency planning.

Embarkation of Indian pilgrims will begin from August 5. Pilgrims of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh will embark on in the 2nd phase. Hajj Committee will have to make arrangement of atleast 1200 pilgrims at a time. In this situation Hajj Committees of both states have decided to work with mutual coordination.

Director Minority Welfare Shaikh Andhra Pradesh Shaikh Mohammed Iqbal had decided to hire the vast function hall adjacent to the Hajj House however the function hall is completely booked during the season. Prof. S A Shukoor said keeping in view the paucity of space it has been decided to make arrangements by setting up water proof tents on the open land adjacent to Hajj House.
