A 22-year-old woman committed suicide allegedly due to harassment by her husband.
The deceased, Rehana Begum, was married to Md Moin of Errakunta about 18 months ago. However, she was being harassed by her husband for trivial reasons. Unable to bear harassment, she resorted to the extreme step by setting herself ablaze on November 4. She was admitted to the Osmania General Hospital where she succumbed on Sunday night.
The Pahadishareef police have registered a case under Section 306 IPC against her husband Moin. (INN)
