The minimum qualification to apply for the post of constable in Telangana State Police Department is intermediate pass. However, the job aspirants include Research Scholars, MCA, MCA, M.Tech and M. Phil qualified persons.
According to sources, a total of 9,281 constable posts are being filled in the first phase and the last date for submitting applications is 4th February midnight. The applications are being received since December 11, 2015 and so far 4.20 lakh aspirants have applied for the constable posts. They include 178,917 intermediate pass, 21,786 BA and 31,943 B. Com graduates. Further, 1793 aspirants had done B. Pharmacy, 28,810 did B.Sc, 28 BSC (Agriculture), 19,621 B. Tech, 198 BBM, 125 BCA, 2531 MA, 1454 M. Com, 366 M. Pharmacy, 11 M. Phil, 3597 M. Sc., 1220 M. Tech, 7508 MBA, 1048 MCA, 5 Phd and 7,428 are studying other courses. (INN)
