The Role
Mechanical Design (HVAC) Engineer
Reporting in to the Head of the Mechanical Engineering Department within a multi-discipline design office, the role involves leading a team consisting of CAD & design engineers in the design, drafting and specification of HVAC services for a variety of building projects from early concept stage to issuing of construction contract documents. The role may also require short term supervision and inspection of mechanical systems installations during the construction stage.
Requirements
The successful candidates will be able to prepare clear and detailed calculations using HVAC design software such as Carrier E-20/HAP, Elite, etc. and have a good understanding of other computer programmes for duct and pipe sizing, ESP drop and heat gain.
A Bachelors or equivalent degree in mechanical engineering and have a minimum of 10 years experience in the design of heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems for large scale building projects
