Hyderabad: Decomposed body parts of an unidentified woman were found on Wednesday in an open plot in Gopanpally thanda under Gachibowli police station limits.
The residents of the thanda had informed the police about a body being scattered like this near a construction debris dump yard, as per Telangana Today.
Woman’s skull wrapped in a maroon coloured saree was found by the police along with the CLUES team. The police gathered all the body parts spread around the debris and sent them to Osmania General Hospital morgue for autopsy.
Police suspect that the woman may have died more than a week ago and stray dogs could have scattered the body parts. “The decomposing State of the body indicates that the woman died nearly one week ago,” one official said.
A case was registered under sections in regards to suspicious death while further investigation is on.
