Hyderabad: Iron rod removed from man’s body at OGH

Hyderabad: Iron rod that had pierced the body of a 24-year-old man has been successfully removed by the surgeons of Osmania General Hospital (OGH) on Monday.

As reported by Telangana Today, Ramesh, a resident of Sangyam village in Warangal district, works as a contract employee in the State Electricity Department. While discharging his duties on Sunday, in Warangal, he accidentally fell from an electric pole on to sharp rods. The iron rod pierced from his left buttock to spinal cord. Ramesh was immediately rushed to OGH on Sunday evening.

After thorough investigations and interdepartmental consultation, surgeons carried out the surgery to remove the iron rods.
