Hyderabad will be a ‘World City’

While introducing a resolution on Urban Development, the Municipal Administration  Minister KT Rama Rao has made it clear that the TRS government will transform Hyderabad  as a  ‘World City’.

Addressing the TRS plenary meeting here on Wednesday, KTR has said that the TRS party attracted all sections of the people in Hyderabad City. The party won 99 divisions out of 150, he said alleging that some sections resorted to negative  campaign saying that  non-locals would be vacated from  Hyderabad, investments and IT industry will go away in case the separate Telangana state was formed. But  investments were coming in a big way and non-locals were happy, he asserted saying the Hyderabad City would be developed as per plan. He revealed that  Hyderabad roads would be developed by implementing ‘Strategic Road Development Plan’ with Rs. 20,000 crore. Six Lane Sky Way would be developed along with the Musi River, he said.

The Minister said that the government was giving permissions to the building construction through online. The industrial sector would be spread to districts. The government provided employment to 1.25 lakh people, he reminded saying that Google, Amazon, Uber and other prestigious firms have  established their campuses in Hyderabad City. He urged the people to take part in the development of Hyderabad city. (NSS)
