Hyderabadi pilgrim stopped at Madina Airport

Hyderabad: Immigration authorities stopped a Hyderabadi pilgrim at Madina airport over difference in fingerprints. He has been taken into custody.

62-year-old, Basheeruddin, R/O Bholakpur, Musheerabad, who is retd servant of postal department, had gone to Hajj along with her wife, son and daughter-in-law. He was to return to Hyderabad on Tuesday at 11:30 pm.

Relatives said that after reaching the airport, Basheeruddin himself requested immigration authorities to take fingerprints, while no other pilgrim’s fingerprint was taken. However as his fingerprint was taken, his fingerprint didn’t match with his previous fingerprint. Hence he was stopped by the authorities. His son Faheemuddin also had to stay with him, while the ladies returned to Hyderabad.
