Hyderabad: Impact of Siasat’s Movement for society reformation and simple marriages was witnessed on Thursday at Chanchalguda, Mahboobia Masjid where Mr. Mohammed Ataur Rahman Atif S/O Mr. Mohammed Abdur Rahman (presently residing in Riyadh) entered into wedlock with daughter of Mr. Syed Akhtar Husain, in a very simple ceremony at the Masjid.
The groom refused to accept a single thing from bride’s family. Although bride’s family insisted to arrange dinner for atleast 50 people but the groom didn’t accept that also, thus the rukhsati was conducted from the masjid itself.
Lauding the Society Reformation Campaign run by Siasat editor Mr. Zahed Ali Khan, the groom said ‘Siasat is playing a constructive role in society reformation.’
Mr. Mohammed Mansoor Ali Khan, Mr. Mohammed Maqsood Ali Khan and Osman Mohiuddin welcomed the guests.
